Language: Utudnon
Alternative names: Baybayanon,  Waya-Waya
Utudnon or sometimes referred to as Baybayanon is a language spoken exclusively in Baybay City, Leyte. Although, indigenous to Baybay City, the language is only spoken in a few barangays namely Gabas, Guadalupe, Kilim, Pangasugan, and Patag.

Like Surigaonon, it is informally called as Waya-Waya by non-native speakers because their negative existential (Wala in Cebuano) is Waya.

Before the advent of Cebuano and Waray-Waray in Leyte, Utudnon was the language mainly spoken in the island.
